Meet Jana Miller, Ed.D.
Improving and supporting school leaders has been Dr. Miller’s passion throughout the years. She provided leadership and supervision for all Principals and Directors in the Teaching and Learning Department and the school district continually remained within the top 5 in the state of Arizona. She brought her school district into an A-Rating by the Arizona Department of Education through outstanding leadership.
Dr. Jana Miller is an accomplished K-12 Assistant Superintendent, Principal, Teacher, University Adjunct Professor, and is the CEO of REAL (Re-Energizing Educators and Leaders), a leadership consulting company for school district leaders. Jana’s husband is also an accomplished K-12 school administrator and they have lived in the Phoenix area for 25 years.
The Arizona Department of Education awarded Dr. Miller the AZLEADS3 Circle of Honor Recipient designation when she was principal. The Arizona School Administrators Association recognized her with the Distinguished Administrator Award as she served as Associate Superintendent for Teaching and Learning. During her tenure as principal her school received A+ Exemplary Programs designation for Language Acquisition/Immersion Programs and A+ School of Excellence for outstanding school leadership and student achievement from the Arizona Educational Foundation.
Jana earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Arizona State University, Masters in Special Education from University of Central Oklahoma, and Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Southern Nazarene University. She is frequently recruited to teach Masters and Doctorate level courses and has served as adjunct faculty for Educational Leadership degree programs at Arizona State University and Argosy University.
Dr. Miller is relentless in her pursuit to support educators and leaders to create outstanding learning environments for kids. She loves school communities and loves serving others.
